“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.” —Nelson Mandela
I always say that sterilization is the only humane solution to combat the overpopulation and suffering of dogs and cats.
However, what is even more important is education. We need to educate the youth about how to be responsible pet owners and how to treat animals as sentient beings so that they will want to sterilize and care for their pets when they’re adults.
One of my major goals is to offer consciousness-raising education programs in the local schools and in the community in general so that the future for animals in Mexico will be a brighter one.
